What's in this week's Cardinal Courier

• Today is a Snow Day! Here is the latest information about Snow Days for the 2021-2022 school year from November in case you missed it.

• Enrollment for Winter After-School Enrichment starts today at 8am. Go to the Enrichment Matters Website for the most up-to-date list of classes (Mr. Morse added a basketball class on Mondays for 4th and 5th graders) and registration information.

• Winter Wonderland at Abingdon on January 8 HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO APS'S pause on extra-curricular activities until 1/14/22! A new date will be announced soon!

• APS School Board approved the SY2022-2023 calendar. First day of school will be Monday, August 29, 2022. Check out the rest of the calendar here.

Winter Enrichment Classes at Abingdon

Abingdon's PTA will once again be partnering with Enrichment Matters for in-person enrichment classes. Registration will open on Monday January 3 at 8am and classes will start on January 24. Winter Wonderland January 8 POSTPONED!

Abingdon Volunteer Program

APS requires that all parents volunteering in the building complete a Volunteer Application. In addition to verification of an applicant's identity, COVID 19 vaccination is required for the application to be approved.The process takes about a week to complete. If you plan to volunteer in the school this year please be sure to complete the Volunteer Application here.

Important Upcoming Dates

• Monday January 3 at 8:00am: Winter Enrichment Registration opens!

• Monday January 17: NO SCHOOL - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

• Monday January 24: Winter Enrichment Classes Start!

• Monday January 31: NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS - Grade Prep Day
