Community Activities for Students and Families

Abingdon students, families, and staff value the collaboration and contributions of organizations in our neighborhood, throughout Arlington County, in Greater Washington, and across the country whose work benefits our community of learners. These are some of the organizations we work, learn, and grow with on behalf of our students.

Arlington Public Schools has several committees that require representatives from each school. Meetings are usually held monthly, in the evenings, at schools throughout the county. Each representative is invited to bring information and experience from their school as well as report back at PTA meetings on county wide programs .
